Measurements of flow in rectangular channels
Company KAMA using our experience with aircraft buildling we can produce light and strong flumes with chemical resistant laminates based on the textiles and glass mats, carbon and polyester resins, vinyl ester.
The above-mentioned advantages orifice allow their productions version of the segment in most channels airline experience is not only light weight but also to obtain adequate velocity distribution so no to restrict the ability of the channel to provide laminar flow before the venturi.
We produce venturi channels having a width of 400 to 6000mm. The technology used allows you to adjust the venturi to virtually any channel. All flumes of the series KAMA physically measure the flow. In practice our proven venturi with a maximum measuring range of 60 000m³/h will read exactly 200 liters per hour.
The work of our orifice channel with a width of 2500mm - low flow around 7m³/h and the flow of 5800m³/h shown in the pictures below. Please pay attention to the image in the screenshot 5800m³/h orifice is completely flooded, and the flow is still laminar. We do not have any water blocking, as is the case with the mounting orifice Parshall and Venturi.
Venturi KAMA always have the width of the channel.
Flumes are legally protected on the basis of patents with Community designs EU.
